Phoenix DeepView

NetSec Intelligence Cloud  •  Privacy Policy & App Information

About the App

Phoenix DeepView is a NetSec Intelligence Cloud for ISP operators — extreme, real-time visibility over your network from your pocket. It connects to your own Phoenix DeepView (DPI) server over HTTPS and shows live traffic classification, subscriber sessions, per-VLAN and per-reseller analytics, CDN/cache offload, uplink and transit capacity, connection quality, threat and scanning intelligence, account-sharing detection, and native time-series metrics dashboards.

The app is a read-mostly operator viewer: it displays data from the server you point it at. It ships with a built-in demo — tap Explore demo to browse the full console with live-looking data, no server or account required.

Data we do not collect

Data processed to provide the service

DataPurposeWhere it goes / is stored
Server address, username and password you enter To sign in to the DeepView server you choose Stored only on your device in the iOS Keychain. Credentials are sent solely to that server, only over HTTPS.
Network/operations data shown in the app (traffic, sessions, metrics, etc.) To display your console Fetched live from your server for display. The app does not forward it anywhere else.

The app talks only to the server you configure (or the public demo server if you tap Explore demo). It contains no back-end of ours that receives your data.

Security

Connections are protected with per-host TLS certificate pinning (trust-on-first-use): the app remembers your server's certificate and refuses a changed one. Credentials are never sent over plain HTTP — sign-in is refused unless the connection is HTTPS.

Information for App Review

QuestionAnswer
Does the app require an account or login to review? No. Tap Explore demo on the login screen to load a fully populated demo (“LibanSP”) across every tab — no account or credentials needed.
Why are App Transport Security exceptions enabled? Operator DPI appliances use private/self-signed TLS certificates on internal networks. In place of ATS the app enforces its own SHA-256 certificate pinning and refuses cleartext HTTP.
Does it use encryption requiring export compliance? Standard HTTPS/system networking only (exempt). No proprietary encryption.
Does it collect data for tracking or advertising? No tracking, no ads, no third-party analytics SDKs.
What data leaves the device? Only your login and requests to the DeepView server you configure (or the demo server).
